Become a Clinical Partner

We are looking for new professional partners to help treat UK patients

We are always looking to partner with professionals and businesses that can help us in our mission to treat as many haemorrhoid sufferers as possible with an optimal patient pathway. We provide equipment, training, marketing and business development support directly to qualified practitioners, clinics and hospitals and clinical service providers internationally.

eXroid has proven to be the preferred choice of treatment for patients due to its safety, convenience and most importantly minimal complication and pain both during the procedure and afterwards. This means that at low cost, the providers are able to expand their clinical portfolio and enhance their reputation with patients for progressive, safe and high value treatment and care.

Our support enables you to grow the service, making it a key contributor to your business and its on-going success.

Our training programme

As part of our commitment to providing excellent care of the highest standards, all doctors wishing to become an eXroid practitioner must already be GMC registered with an interest in proctology or coloproctology, usually a colorectal or general surgeon or a gastroenterologist, although other doctors, including gynaecologists, urologists etc may also be considered. They will undergo a regulatory compliant training programme, during which he or she will become proficient in the procedure, as well as demonstrating key competencies such as supporting patients through an enhanced consent procedure, maintaining regulation standards and training in our digital recording system.

We understand that time is a premium, so the 4 stage process can usually be completed within 4-6 weeks to allow for two clinics and for all documentation to be completed alongside the practical training. All our doctors then sign up to a 2 year accreditation renewal as part of their eXroid agreement.

Clinical efficacy

Since eXroid’s launch in 2019, we have collected all data relating to the >8000 treatments for all 4 grades of haemorrhoid.

An abstract summarising the information from the first 812 patients treated was accepted by the Association of Coloproctology of Great Britain and Ireland (ACPGBI) for presentation at their annual conference in July 2021 and has now been published in the September 2021 edition of the medical journal, Colorectal Disease. It details a very compelling case for the safety and tolerability of the eXroid treatment.

In addition, a further abstract outlining the use of our copyrighted diagnostic tool, the eXroid Clockface Assessment Tool (eCAT), has also been accepted and has been published in the same journal. Furthermore, 3 more abstracts have been accepted by the European Society of Coloproctology (ESCP), and were presented as e-posters at the September (virtual) annual conference. These abstracts are to be published in due course.

These highlight the safety of eXroid treatment for all 4 grades of internal haemorrhoids, including those patients taking anticoagulant or antiplatelet treatments, with a very low risk of bleeding or other complications when compared to the published figures for other commonly performed treatments.
