*Clinicians and patients can opt for anaesthesia as an elective choice, but it is not required when administering the treatment, enabling it to be performed in acute, primary and even homecare settings.

Our technology is now widely coded and reimbursed by major health systems and insurers. It can be administered with or without anaesthesia depending on provider / practitioner and patient choice, enabling a range of service options from homecare, outpatients, day surgery or main theatre delivery to be administered. The procedure is covered by ICC, OPCS, ICD-10 and AMAM CPT codes for treatment and reimbursement.

His Majesty The King has approved the Prime Minister’s recommendation that eXroid Technology receive a King’s Award for Enterprise in the Innovation category this year.

The treatment in action

The treatment itself is very simple and has been clinically researched for over 150 years, with advances in medical technology now making it a mainstream practice.

The device generates a small current of up to 16mAmp, which feels only slightly uncomfortable, though not painful, which stimulates a chemical reaction in the haemorrhoid, creating an excess of alkali which accumulates to seal off the feeding varicose blood vessel.
